Upon foundation of Afyon Kocatepe University Faculty of Law in November 15, 2010, a protocol was signed with the university on November 30, 2010 through which Borusan Kocabıyık Foundation assumed the construction of the faculty of law buildings to be located in Afyon Kocatepe University Ahmet Necdet Sezer Campus. The faculty of law was completed and delivered to the university on October 26, 2011 and started providing education in 2014 following the completion of its infrastructure services (electricity, water, road, sewage) by the university.

The project of the faculty of law building was drawn by the university with an indoor area of 4,308 square meters. The building was designed with a basement, ground and first floor and includes one faculty staff block, one classroom block and one passage block. There are a total of 33 faculty staff rooms on the ground and first floors in the faculty staff block. The classroom block includes a total of six classrooms including two lecture theaters, and also two seminar halls, a library and a hearing room.
